In his live shows, Beardyman utilzes cutting-edge sound manipulation technology to shape dance-inducing layered rhythms and sonic soundscapes into fully produced songs, all improvised and created entirely from the human voice. No pre-recorded material is used in the process, and everything is created live and in real time in front of the audience.

Beardyman has collaborated with many artist throughout his career, and in 2008 he worked with visual artist mr_hopkinson to produce a video called "Monkey Jazz", which visually describes the live looping process. The video has had over 1 million views on YouTube.
