Phuture Shock

Established in year 2000 Phuture Shok are a true phenomenon for the Bulgarian music scene. Their distinguished style is not easy to be expressed by words as it is a combination of Acid Jazz, Soul and Funk with a little touch of electronics and something more... The heart and mind of the band are Desy /vocals/ and Ficho /keys, and machines/. It is their creativity and musical approach that stand behind the success of the so far two album releases: Live /2001/ and the award winning Playback /2002/ An album filled with listening pearls that not only took the prize for Best Album in Bulgarias most prestigious MMTV music awards, but also had an impact worldwide with the remix of the song Slow Down made by the world leading Break Beat producer Ils and released as Precious on his album Bohemia for UKs Distinctive Records. When it comes to live performance Phuture Shok live acts are considered to be A Very Special Events not only because of the great music, but as well for the line-up of amazing musicians performing with them on the stage, creating unforgettable atmosphere. These atmosphere and performance have secured the band gigs alongside names such as Stereo MCs, Jimmy Tenor, Asian Dub Foundation, to name but a few. In the moment the band is recording their forthcoming album that is going to be almost entirely acoustic and working together with some of the best bulgarian musicians like Dakata /drums/ and Peko /guitar/, so watch out!
